D&E Custom Homes offer budgets for a variety of price ranges and are worth every penny of the price. We offer ideas and creativity in every home. Every home is unique. We can build the same home multiple times yet still look very different each time the plan is built. Many home plans with a variety of ideas are available to mix and match from one plan to another to create your own special look.

Our homes include standards such as landscaping, decorative entryways, tile showers, floors and backsplashes, and plastic plumbing. A one year structural warranty is offered to every homebuyer.

We build in all surrounding areas of Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, Ashland, Lincoln and Council Bluffs. Homes range from about $150,000 to $500,000  including custom homes, villas and models.

NOTICE: D&E CAN KEEP UP THE THE TRENDS:  According to RISMEDIA, average size homes are decreasing.  The national average home size fell from 2520 to 2480 in 2009.  The last time the average completed home size fell with that type of margin was in 1982.  DOWNSIZING it the Trend. Clients are taking the  "cents and sensibility" approach. Practicality and price are to priority.  Five Bedroom Five bathroom homes are a thing of the past.

Popular features are walk-in closets in the master, separate laundry rooms, Insulated front doors, large great rooms, evergy efficient windows, linen closets, programmable thermostats, energy efficient appliances and lighting, separate shower adn tub in master bathrooms, and 9' ceilings on the main.  On the flip side, features buyers are leaving out of their wish list are sunrooms, butler's pantries, media rooms, desks in kitchen, two-story entries, 8' ceilings on main level, multiple shower heads in master bath, and smaller kitchens.
